At BCBC, we are a faith community that is passionate about knowing God, loving Him, and living out His love in our lives.
We believe that God created us with a need to connect with Him and with others in genuine, loving relationships. For this reason, we meet together for worship, encouragement and teaching from the Bible on Sunday mornings, and also in various activities during the week. We welcome you to join us on this journey.
Our Church partners together with the Baptist Churches of NSW and ACT which is an association of more than 340 congregations committed to voluntarily serving together with common purpose, values, vision and goals. More information can be found here.
WHO & WHY
At BCBC we aim to be a place of worship and fellowship, where people can come to build relationships and find support from one another. We are passionate about giving back to our local community and we invite you to join us in our mission.
Pete Davies began his pastoral journey here at Boambee Community Baptist Church in August 2019, however he has been a Baptist pastor for the past 30 years. He has served as a Youth Pastor, Church planter, Solo pastor, Senior pastor, staff worker with Ambassadors For Christ International, and then for 10 years as the Director of Church Development for the Baptist Association of NSW.
WHERE & WHEN
You'll find us on the corner of Bruce King Drive and the Pacific Highway in Boambee East, about 10 mins drive south of Coffs Harbour centre. The carpark entrance is off Bruce King Drive. See map below.
Our worship service starts at 9:30am, generally running between 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours in duration, and is followed by morning tea. Visitors are always welcome so whether you are a local or are holidaying in the area, feel free to drop in and join us.
Kids are an important part of our church family and, just like the adults, we love to see them get involved and use their God-given gifts in various ways during the service. 'Empowered' - our children's program operates during the second half of the service.
